Tailgate Smoked Young Turkey

Cooking Time: 4 To 4 Hours 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 fresh or thawed frozen young turkey
6 glasses extra virgin olive oil with roasted garlic flavor
6 original Yang dry lab or poultry seasonings
Directions:
1. Remove excess fat and skin from turkey breasts and cavities.
2. Slowly separate the skin of the turkey to its breast and a quarter of the
leg, leaving the skin intact.
3. Apply olive oil to the chest, under the skin, and on the skin.
4. Gently rub or season to the chest cavity, under the skin, and on the
skin.
5. Set up tailgate Traeger smoker grill for indirect cooking and smoking.
Preheat to 225°F using apple or cherry Traegers.
6. Put the turkey meat on the grill with the chest up.
7. Suck the turkey for 4-4 hours at 225°F until the thickest part of the
turkey’s chest reaches an internal temperature of 170°F and the juice is
clear.
8. Before engraving, place the turkey under a loose foil tent for 20
minutes
